The Anointing

Without His anointing we have nothing. If the anointing stops, so will we. It is really a great treasure, the pearl of great price. But we do not possess it. It cannot be possessed, although many try. It cannot be owned, even by proxy. It cannot be faked or manipulated, although many try.

Who Are We Looking For?

Jesus is Himself the Prince of Peace and it's His presence we look for! When doing live music I try not to rush things, but try and allow the Holy Spirit to get out front. Some songs are story oriented with some humor, like Begone, (the devil song). Sometimes the response to the music is very animated, but most of the time a great peace comes into the room. I don't know why, but even when doing upbeat stuff the peace of God just takes over. I've learned not to second guess it.

'Our Era of Ministry' 

I began attending a church in LA on Avenue 22 called Christians Assembly.  Don Pickerill was teaching 'The Reign of Grace'.  It was the most dynamic teaching its kind probably in the world. This seed was planted at this, my lowest point, and eventually would ​take root and grow bearing the fruit only true grace can bring, but I was still immature and pretty helpless. I then followed my parents to Oklahoma where we had ancestral roots.

I was driving down a country road when the song “The Lord thy God” poured into my heart straight from heaven and filled the cab of my truck. It came to earth as it was in heaven, fully orchestrated and accompanied by northern lights! (it was mid summer) The heavens were opened to me, and the Lord made it clear that he was indeed mighty in our midst, Zephaniah 3:17.
