What We Do

Having roots in leading worship and writing songs sets the tone for what we do live. There is just no substitute for a live setting. I play my guitars, sing as unto the Lord, play my violin live with recorded sound tracks behind me. It sounds like a live band this way. I have my own studio for recordings. When doing live music I try not to rush things, but try and allow the Holy Spirit to get out front. Sometimes the response to the music is very animated, but most of the time a great peace comes into the room. I don't know why, but even when doing upbeat stuff the peace of God just takes over. I've learned not to second guess it. Jesus is Himself the Prince of Peace. I never ever impose upon the people to respond in a certain way. Maybe they are just enjoying the presence of the Lord or they just came in carrying the weight of the world, even grief. The last thing they need is a worship leader griping at them for not responding in a certain way. Early on in my worship leading career the Lord made it very clear that I should never expect some preconceived response from the people.

I do not take ministry time for marketing the sale of CDs. Just can't do it. We always bring CDs available for purchase, but CD sales is not the purpose of our ministry.
